Obituary for Joseph Ernest Raymond Caron Joseph Raymond Caron died at his home October 20,2018 , surrounded by his family, after a relatively brief illness. His funeral service will be held this Saturday, Nov 3rd, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 530 Old Atlanta Hwy , Newnan, GA. Ray was born Sept 27, 1930 the first of 12 children to be born in the United States.

Though Ray had a career as a Pro-Boxer and retired from General Motors, he was most proud of his family and faith. Ray was married to his wife Phyllis for 56 years and raised 4 children (3 of which live in Newnan). He was a preacher of the good news with Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 46 years.

These two facets of his life were always intertwined and were the things that brought him the greatest joy. He is survived by his wife Phyllis Caron of Newnan, GA. Along with 4 Children Stanley , Raymond (Stacy), Philip (Sherri) and his daughter Linda.

He was also a grandfather to 4 grandchildren, Phylicia, Max, Cooper and Samuel. He is survived by one sibling, his brother Marcel from Arizona. He will be sorely missed by all as a husband, father, grandfather (Pe’pe’ as he was called by the grandkids), brother and friend.
