Obituary for Patricia Mae Ray Mrs. Patricia Mae Ray, 91, of Moreland passed away Friday October 12, 2018 at the Benton House in Newnan, Georgia. She was born September 5, 1927 in Thomson, GA to the late Gussie and Ethel Widener. Along with her parents Patricia is predeceased by her husband of 63 years, John Lee Ray in 2012 and four brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are her two sons, Mike and Karen Ray, Richard and Janet Ray; grandchildren, Chris Ray and fiancé Lauren Ray, Josh and Melanee Ray, Ryan Ray and Nickie, Alleigh Ray; great grandchildren, Haylee Ray, Dylan Ray, Rylee Ray, Reegan Ray, Maisyn Ray and Rowynn Ray. Pat, as she is known by friends and family, retired after 28 years from Delta Airlines. She was a longtime member of more than 30 years at Bexton Road Baptist Church.

She volunteered her time at Moreland Elementary School. When she was not volunteering she enjoyed arts and crafts and traveling with her friends. She will be sorely missed by her friends and family.

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 15, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 656 Roscoe Road, in Newnan with Rev. Don Widener officiating. You may express condolences to the family at www.
