Obituary for Daphne W. Odom Daphne Wilson Odom, 84 passed away peacefully at home on November 30, 2018. She was born September 29, 1934 in Yancey County, NC to the late Goldie and Charlie Wilson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Gearldine Presnell and brother, J.D. Wilson.

Daphne was a longtime member of Cokes Chapel United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a charter member of the Driftwood Garden Club, her hobbies included Gardening and Shopping. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Clint Odom; children, Felicia Odom Smith and son-in-law, Dr. James Smith, Regina Rooks and Stephen Odom; grandchildren, Jake M. Smith, Patrick Smith, Sophie Smith and Alya Hicks; great-grandchildren, Henry Smith and Morgan Hicks.

Condolences may be expressed online at www. mckoon.com A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Cokes Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Lisa Dempsey officiating.

The family will greet friends following the service in the fellowship hall at the church. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to Cokes Chapel United Methodist Church 4096 Lower Fayetteville Rd. Sharpsburg, GA 30277.
