Obituary for Margaret Inez Jones Margaret Inez Fowler Jones, 83, of Newnan, widow of Joe Elon Jones died October 5, 2018 at Grady Memorial Hospital. Born in Atlanta, September 17, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Henry Elton and Nora Mae Ward Fowler. She was retired from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation where she where she was Principal Clerk for twenty years.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason. Survivors include a son, Michael Pruitt and wife Janice of Blairsville; two daughters, Debra Howard of Oxford and Melissa Jones Parr and husband William of Newnan; five grandchildren, Jeremy, Joshua, Todd, Melanie and Aaron; five great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister Dorothy Pruitt of Griffin; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Newnan.
