Obituary for Buddy Blagg Albert Lee “Buddy” Blagg, age 88 of Ozark, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018. He was born December 21, 1929 in Texarkana, Texas, the son of Jesse and Edna Blagg. Buddy’s career was with IBM and subsidiaries for over 30 year before working for Light Signatures Inc. in the 1980’s.

He retired early in 1985 to enjoy all the things he loved in life: Traveling (especially to Maui each fall), playing golf and tennis as well as watching all sports on TV, and working as a volunteer for nine years at the courthouse in Ozark for a judge who became a lifelong friend. Buddy is survived by: Jennifer, his wife of 41 years; daughters Katherine Blagg Niebur, Krissi Blagg Povah and Kerry Blagg Burns; his brothers Gene “Lynn” Blagg and Charles “Kay” Blagg; six grandsons; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Yes, quite a family!

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Edna, a sister Margaret, and half-sister, Juanita. A graveside service will be planned in Odessa, MO, outside of Kansas City later this year. The family requests that no flowers be sent but do appreciate your condolences and prayers.
