Buddy Kirkland, 69, of Senatobia MS passed away April 19, 2018 at his residence. Buddy was a former Tate County Coroner, Senatobia Fireman and Tate County Sheriff Department Dispatcher. He was a veteran having served in the National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Criswell Kirkland and father, Wilbur Laverne Kirkland, Sr He is survived by his wife, Geneva Kirkland of Senatobia, MS; son, Calvin Kirkland (Lyndsay) of San Diego, CA; mother, Mary Agnes Kirkland of Senatobia, MS; sisters, Patty Parker (Tom) of Olive Branch, MS, Corneil Copeland (Gary) of Senatobia, MS and Emily Sullivan (Frankie) of Sardis, MS; granddaughter, Cali Ann Kirkland; stepdaughters, Jeannie Carey of Horn Lake, MS, Tammy Gourley of Dyersburg, TN and Michelle Rutherford of Independence, MS; stepsons, Jimmy Winters of Philadelphia, MS, Jeffery Winters of Union City, TN and Bubba Jeffords of Horn Lake, MS. Memorials may be sent to Como Baptist Church where he was a member.
