Burley B. Hutton, 87, of Hillsdale, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., prior to the services at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. All need to use 60th Street for access to the funeral home.

Burley was born on September 26, 1931, in Browning, IL. He married Dolores Webb on February 23, 1949, in Rock Island. She preceded him in death on August 26, 2008.

Burley was a U.S. Veteran, serving with the 1st Calvary Division of the Army and was past commander of the Port Byron American Legion. Burley had previously worked as a self-employed floor covering installer. He enjoyed fishing trips to Minnesota, hunting, and hosting the annual family fish fry.

He also liked to tend to his garden and go to classic car shows. Survivors include his children, Brenda (Bill) Johanson, Rock Island, Mary Lowe, Davenport, Roger (Kathy) Hutton, Newberry, FL, Robert (Teresa) Hutton, Albany, IL, Jeff Hutton, Florida; grandchildren, Lynn, Christin, Bill Jr., Melissa, James, Stephanie, Nicholas, Ashton, Autumn, Heather, and Jennifer; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Burley Jr. and James, his wife, and son-in-law, Todd Lowe.
