Dianne Menapace, age 76, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the Iron River Care Center. She was born on June 30, 1942 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Willard and Fanny (Holappa) Gjers. She attended the Iron River Schools and graduated with the Class of 1960.

Dianne married Gary Menapace on August 7, 1976 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stambaugh. The couple celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary in 2018. She was employed as a CENA in Home Health Care for 10 years.

She loved to cook, work in her flower garden, and feed the birds. She also loved animals, especially her cat. Dianne is survived by her husband, Gary; son, William Schinderle of Iron River, MI; daughter, Kerry (Patrick) Karamian of Erie, CO; grandchildren, Steven and Dakota Schinderle, Melissa (Brian) Cooper, Nikita Karamian; great granddaughters, Ariana and Bella Cooper; and special cousins, Pastor Dawn Robbins and Delsey Treado, both of Gaastra, MI.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
