Beavers, 77, of Clayton, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on January 18, 2019. Born in Uniontown, AL, he lived in Freehold, NJ and Williamstown, NJ before moving to Clayton. Mr. Beavers was a US Army Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

He worked as a market manager for Citgo in Freehold, NJ. Later he received great enjoyment from servicing the public as owner and operator of AK International Limousine Service. He was a member of the American Legion Post #252 in Williamstown and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Beloved husband of Erma Estelle Beavers (nee Strickland). Devoted father of Leonard G. Beavers (Dalthea). Dear brother of Ruby Dawson (Charles) and the late Aaron Beavers.

Caring Godfather of Stacy Baron and Jaylyn Smith. He also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, January 26th from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, NJ, where a service will be held at 10:30 AM.

Burial will follow in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
