Mr. Prus was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Later, he worked as a Supervisor of Sanitation and Safety for Monroe Twp.

before retiring. Mr. Prus was a life member of VFW Post #1616 and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Mater Christi Council # 3352. He was a 4th Degree member of the Archbishop CJ Damiano Assembly.

Beloved husband of Elizabeth A. Prus (nee Dunn) and the late Jean L. Prus (nee Baldino). Dear father of James L. Prus (Donna), Cheri L. Prus, and step father of George Fischer, Jr. (Louise), Cheryl Yap (Andrew), Michael Fischer, Carol Marandino (Salvatore), Bryan Fischer (Debbie) and the late Lora Jean Fischer. Loving grandfather of Michael, Michelle, Angelina and Gianna & great grandfather of Aubrey, Brynnley and Hunter.

Step grandfather of April, Lisa, Tommy, Nicholas, Sal, Kimberly, Joseph, Tommy and the late Shawn & step great grandfather of Mark, Zachary, Kirsten and Quinn. Dear brother of Mildred Kennish, Andrew Prus and Nelson Prus. He was predeceased by his siblings Peter Prus, Stella Jann, Theresa Romanowski, Lillian Carter, Leon Prus, Sylvia Woods, Stanley Prus and Julian “Ooey” Prus.

He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, February 23rd from 9:30 – 11:30 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM at St. Mary’s Church / Our Lady of Peace Parish, Williamstown.

Burial will follow in Our Lady of Victories Cemetery, Landisville.
