Basil A. Tracy, 89, of Wilmington DE. , passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie E. (nee Whitehorn).

Devoted father of Lawrence B. Tracy (Cathy), Patricia A. Owen (Richard), Margaret C. Tracy, Thomas J. Tracy and Cynthia D. Kershaw (Bruce). Dear brother of the late George Tracy, late John Tracy, late Pauline Schuck, late Marge Bilbrough, late William Tracy, late Julia Tucker and the late Eleanor McCormick. Loving grandfather of Josh Tracy, Nicole Jobe, Jessi Tracy, Leann Owen, Richard Owen, Jr., Brett Tracy, Holly Tracy, Sean Kershaw, Sam Kershaw and Emily Kershaw and great grandfather of 9.

He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, February 5th from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 South Main St., Williamstown, NJ. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s RC Church, 32 Carroll Ave.

, Williamstown, NJ. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ. Donations may be made in Basil’s name to Heartland Hospice, 256 Chapman Road, Suite 102, Newark, DE, 19702.
