Calvin L. Blades, beloved husband of Patricia A. Blades (Nee Shannahan) devoted father of Pamela Dunne, Christopher Blades, Donna Gawal, Margaret Hoffman, Leonard Hoffman, Terry Hoffman, Wendy Hutton and the late Kenneth Hoffman, dear brother of Norman Blades, Leonard Blades, Helen Simpson and Linda Andrews. Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Mr. Blades was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 22, 1931 to Lee and Anna May Blades and passed away peacefully at his home in Pasadena surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Blades worked for BGE as a Systems Analyst before opening his accounting firm for the past 35 years. He was a member of the Masons, Shriners, American Legion and the Glen Burnie Moose. He enjoyed being on his computer, spending time with his family, working in his yard and going to the gym.

Mr. Blades also served in the Air force from 1950 to 1953 Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 AM. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
