OBITUARY Camilo Alvarez Hinojosa July 18, 1930 – July 22, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Camilo Alvarez Hinojosa, age 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on July 18, 1930 to Amado and Adela Hinojosa in Edinburg, Texas. Camilo has a sister, Lupe Tello and departed brothers, Jose and Roberto Hinojosa.

Camilo was blessed with a large and loving family. He is survived by five children (and spouses): Camilo Hinojosa, Jr. (wife, Susan), Gloria Ann Cuellar (husband, Simon), Ofelia Sanchez (late husband, Armando), Dolores Garcia and Sylvia Martinez (husband, Ralph); eighteen grandchildren, and countless great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Camilo was known to be a devoted fan to the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed watching football games with his family.

Camilo also enjoyed listening to music and taking countless road trips to Lockhart, Texas for some old fashioned barbeque. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores A. Hinojosa in which they were married for 50 years. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Friday, July 27, 2018 family will meet at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 310 Lockhart St, Martindale, Texas 78655 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Resurrection to begin at 11:00 a.m. interment to follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Martindale, Texas. FAMILY Camilo is survived by five children (and spouses), Camilo Hinojosa, Jr. (wife, Susan), Gloria Ann Cuellar (husband, Simon), Ofelia Sanchez (late husband, Armando), Dolores Garcia and Sylvia Martinez (husband, Ralph); eighteen grandchildren, and countless great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Lupe Tello.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores A. Hinojosa in which they were married for 50 year; parents, Amado and Adela Hinojosa; brothers, Jose and Roberto Hinojosa.
