Carl A. “Tony” Crawford, Sr., 67, of Smithfield, Ohio died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Trinity West. He was born August 27, 1951 in Steubenville, Ohio. Tony was preceded in death by his son Carl Jr., companion Dorothy Andress; great grandson Hunter and niece Rachel Dunn.

Tony is survived by his mother and stepfather Virginia M. DeRubas & Clifford Robinson of Smithfield; daughters Misty Williams, Ola Joann Gorby & Peggy Klinesmith; sons Carl A. Crawford III & John W. (Loretta) Crawford, Sr.; 16 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 1 great granddaughter; close friend Tony Hernandez; brothers Norman (Susan) Crawford, Sr., Clifford Robinson & Charles (Paula) Crawford; sisters Nancy Hicks & Rebecca Dunn; and friend Margaret “Peggy” (William) Anthony. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Thursday 3-6 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with Pastor Michael Renforth officiating. Entombment at Highland Hills.
