Carl ‘Duke’ Powers, 70, of Southampton, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 after losing his life long battle with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. He is survived by his wife Marie Powers (nee Kerns), his son Craig, his daughter Kelly Zollers (Matt), his grandchildren Ben and Amanda, his mother Mary Powers, his brothers Gregory Powers (Barbara) and Vance Powers (Michelle), his sisters-in-law Michelle Cain (Gary), Kimberly Crostarosa (Jack), Karen Dool (Tom), and his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Carl Powers, Sr. and his father and mother in-law Michael and Theresa Kerns.

Carl was a diesel mechanic for over 40 years working with his Dad and brother. They owned and operated Powers Truck Service. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Monday February 18, 2019 from 11am to 12pm at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.

Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30pm at St. David RC Church, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carl’s name may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation online at www2.
