Carl Frank O’Connor, III SANTA FE – Mr. Carl Frank O’Connor, III, passed from this life Monday, April 30, 2018, in Texas City. Born April 6, 1957 in Galveston, Texas, Mr. O’Connor had been a resident of Santa Fe since 1988, previously of Brazoria. Carl was an avid outdoorsman.

Growing up, he was passionate about horses-from breaking them in, to trail riding. He also enjoyed camping, boating and riding jet skis. Carl always knew how to have fun.

His wit and sense of humor earned him the titles of jokester and prankster to all who knew him. He was a great two-stepping partner and was always down to drink some beer. His favorite times of the year were Christmas and Halloween.

It’s these holidays especially that will remind all his friends and family of his fun-loving spirit. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Frank and Wilma Joyce (Baker) O’Connor, II; brother, Louis O’Connor. Survivors include his son, Carl Jason O’Connor and wife, Renee; daughters, Krystle O’Connor, Rebekah Taylor-O’Connor; significant other, Karen Arney; brothers, Henry O’Connor, Edward O’Connor, Robert O’Connor; sisters, Lucky O’Connor, Evelyn Delagarza; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
