Carl J. Hopf sadly passed away on March 7, 2019 at the age of 93. He is the loving husband of Bette Hopf; beloved father of Barbara Keeney, Carol Penyak, Karen Braun, & Carl Hopf; cherished grandfather of Jimmy Johnston, Scott Johnston, Avery Hopf, Brenden Hopf, Angel Conner, Meghan Hilsberg, & Lindsay Lehr; dear great grandfather of Josalina Johnston & Larayne Lehr; Carl is also survived by many other loving family members & friends including his dog Lexy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carl’s name to Gilchrist Hospice & Holy Nativity Lutheran Church.

Family & friends may gather at the family owned and operated Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd. , Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 3-5 PM & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, 1200 Linden Ave.

, Halethorpe, MD 21227 on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 12 PM. Interment will immediately follow at Loudon Park Cemetery, 3620 Wilkens Ave. , Baltimore, MD 21229.
