Mr. Johnson was born December 1, 1925 in Hughes Springs, TX to Andrew Johnson and Betty Mae Cato. He is survived his children, Helen Huffman of Linden, TX, Mary Lou Caldwell (Randy) of Diana, TX, Carolyn Skipper (Tommy) of Daingerfield, TX, Carl Jr. Johnson (Jennifer) of Avinger, TX, James Wayne Johnson (Candy) of Linden, TX, William Andrew Johnson (Charlotte) of Linden, TX, Laura Jane Johnson of Mt.

Pleasant, TX; three sisters, Deener Craig of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Lois Moss of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Louise Johnson of Mt.

Pleasant, TX; one brother, JD Johnson of Turkey Creek and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maurine Burrow Johnson; parents, Andrew and Betty Mae Johnson; three sisters, Katie Mae Kiser, Susie Davis, Ola Hargett and four brothers, Robert Johnson, Cleveland Johnson, JW Johnson and Sherman Johnson. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 27, 2019 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden with Bro.

Jackie Stanfield officiating. Burial to follow in the Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday evening at the funeral home.
