Obituary for Carl P. Martinello Carl P. Martinello, 87, formerly of Peabody, MA passed away on April 12, 2018. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Agnes F. (Keough) Martinello with whom he shared over 61 years of marriage. Born in East Boston, MA on October 21, 1930, he was the son of the late Carlo Martinello and Lucy (DeSimone) Martinello.

He was raised and educated in East Boston and a graduate of Northeastern University. Carl was a longtime Peabody resident. He was employed as a Chemical Engineer at Boston Gas for 43 years.

He is survived by his four children and their spouses, Gary Martinello and Gayle Gleichauf of Beverly, MA, Annmarie and Mark Lenson of Boca Raton, FL, Paul and Christine Martinello of Rotonda West, FL, and Michael and Marybeth Martinello of Danvers, MA, his siblings Celeste Gallo of Saugus, MA, and Ann Kwiatowski of Medford, MA, five grandchildren, Matthew Martinello of Lockport, NY, Paul Martinello of Peabody, MA, Alex Lenson of Boca Raton, FL, Eric Lenson of Boca Raton, FL, Jacob Martinello of Danvers, MA and his great grandchild Jack Martinello of Lockport, NY. Carl was a sergeant in the U.S. Army and was stationed at the Panama Canal, working as a radio operator. Visitation will be Friday, April 27, 2018 from 4-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers.

A service will be held at 7PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Carl’s name to Service Dog Project Attn: Linda Kwiatowski, 37 Boxford Road, Ipswich, MA 01938. Upcoming Events Visitation 2018 APR 27.
