Carl Mayhon Rose passed away suddenly on November 14, 2018. Carl was born in Wewoka, OK, and grew up in OKC. He graduated from NW Classen and OU.

He was a SGT in the US Army and received his MBA from OU, graduating first in his class. For 22 years Carl was a banker in OKC, New Mexico, and Norman. He left banking and at the time of his demise, was Vice President, Financial advisor, of Merrill Lynch where he spent the last 24+ years.

Carl had many accomplishments in his life he didn’t want publicized. However, his greatest accomplishments were being a good husband to Cheryl Blair-Rose and brother to his sisters. The family offers grateful thanks to Dr. Adam Asch, Stephenson Cancer center, OU Medical Center, and his staff and Carl’s peers at Merrill Lynch, especially his partner, James Wood, for all their support through his courageous battle against cancer.

He was proceeded in death by parents MT and Frances Rose; and two nieces, Teri and Wendy. Carl is survived by his Soul Mate and wife , Cheryl; his best friend, Randy Hubbard; his partner, James Wood; his sisters Patricia Frost, (Newell) Santa Cruz, CA and Tina Coleman, (Gib) St Paul, MN. Also 3 nieces and nephews, 10 great nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed. There will be a memorial open house Monday, Nov. 26 , 4:30-6:30, 3725 Spyglass Rd OKC, in the Greens.
