Carla’s Obituary Carla Jean Harper, 61, of Ironton, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at her residence. The Lawrence County native was born August 13, 1957, a daughter of the late Charles Fredrick Sr. and Doris Ruth Kellogg Harper. Carla was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and a homemaker.

She was a member of the Family Life Worship Center in Ironton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: two sisters: Mary Jane Blankenship and Rosalie Mulkey a brother: Charles “Pete” Harper, Jr. a sister-in-law: Chaucey Harper She is survived by: three sisters: Rita F. Harper, Donna K. Bledsoe both of Ironton and Vivian (Jerry) Brooks of Coal Grove two brothers: John (Sandy) Harper of Ashland, KY and Roy Harper of Ironton Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, Ohio with Pastor Todd Munson officiating. Burial will follow in Hecla Cemetery and visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
