Carlo’s Obituary Carlo J. Amorati passed away peacefully on January 18, 2019 at his home in Cincinnati. He was born in Union City, NJ to Joseph and Filomena Amorati, both from Northern Italy. Carlo met and married the love of his life, Joan Amorati, in NJ and they settled in Ohio.

They were married for 58 wonderful years. Carlo received a full scholarship to Rutgers University and graduated with a BA in Business. He enjoyed a long career in sales of cartons and packaging.

Carlo was a longtime Browns fan, loved planning, preparing and eating elaborate dinners, was an avid reader and especially enjoyed completing projects around the house. He was a loving, caring and generous person who will be greatly missed. Joan and Carlo are survived by their children, John (Karen) Amorati, Thomas Amorati, Lisa (Thomas) Meyer and Steven (Ramona) Amorati and grandchildren Carl, Brad, Alexandra, Roman, Juliette and Elyse.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
