He was born in Corning, Kansas and was one of 13 children. He had a long career in retail management with the Melvile Corp.

, but he found his true passion as a driving instructor with AAA Cincinnati. He leaves behind two daughters, Elizabeth Sullivan (Mike) and Regina Fordham (Robert). He was an adored Papa to three grandchildren, Abigail Fordham, Thomas Fordham and Jack Sullivan.

He was a fourth degree Knight of Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 25, 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Norwood. Visitation will be held at Geo.

H. Rohde & Son, Mt. Lookout Square on Thursday, January 24 from 6-7 PM. In lieu of flower donations can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or the American Heart Association.
