Obituary for Carlos Jaime Torres Carlos Jaime Torres Cardenas, 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by his friends and loved ones on Saturday, December 8, 2018 in Reynosa, Tamps, Mexico. Being born in General Teran, NL, Mexico on August 12, 1954, he became a resident and entered the United States as a resident in 1955. Carlos attended school in Lodi, California where he also volunteered to serve in the US Army at a time of war in 1972.

Carlos was honorably discharged in 1976 from Fort Bragg, NC. Carlos Torres attained so many life skills that he’d help everyone he came across without hesitation. From being a mechanic to a handyman and also a guardsman at TMF, Carlos never failed at completing any and all tasks.

He was loved by many and all who met him, and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by father Isaac J. Torres and brother Oscar N. Torres. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Virginia C. Torres; his brothers, Alfredo (Rosa) Torres and Isaac Torres Jr; sisters, Graciela Rivera, Norma (Ramiro) Trevino, Mirna Guerrero and Lucila (Raymond) Martinez.

Children, Marcella Becerra, Tammy Mosqueda, Domingo Mosqueda, Carlos Mosqueda, Robert Mosqueda, Sammy Mosqueda and Michael Mosqueda. 18 grandchildren who loved him dearly and one great grandchild. Many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a lifetime full of friends that will always be family.

Family will be receiving friends and family on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home in Mission, Texas. Chapel service will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the Iglesia Adventista del Septimo Dia on Inspiration and 495. Interment will follow at the RGV State Veteran’s Cemetery in Mission, Texas on South Inspiration Rd.
