Carlos Jerome Lauderdale, (36) of Lorain, Ohio, departed this life June 24, 2018. He was born November 28, 1981 in Louisiana to Jerome Lauderdale and Constance (Mays) Lauderdale. He attended Clearview School System.

He finished his education at Job Corp, where he picked up a trade in Construction. He was employed as a construction worker. Carlos “Los” was good with his hands and was an avid handyman and enjoyed working on cars and cooking.

He spent his free time writing poetry, drawing, and spending time with family and friends. Carlos is survived by his parents, Jerome Lauderdale and Constance (Mays) Lauderdale; daughters, Amelia Marie Lauderdale, Savannah Lynn Lauderdale, Adreanna Janell Anderson, Savannah Shaneice Sabo, Jamelia Nashae Artis and Neveah Alexus King; grand-daughter, Mar’leigha Jade Cleveland; significant other, Courtney Brown; brothers, Christopher K. Mays, Jerome J. Lauderdale, Cashmere A. Patterson; sisters, Jamelia N. Lauderdale-Linden, Sherrita D. Lauderdale, Jasmine L. Lauderdale, Cassie M. Lauderdale and Castheria S. Lauderdale; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Friends may call on Saturday, June 30, 2018 in the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Lorain, 3900 Clifton Ave, Lorain, at 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service.
