OBITUARY Carlos Silva July 29, 1933 – October 3, 2018 Carlos Silva, 85, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 with his loving family at his side. He was born July 29, 1933 in Houston, Texas to Salvador Silva and Mercedes Saucillo. His parents and all of his siblings preceded him in death.

Carlos is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years of marriage Dolores Rodriguez Silva; his children, Elizabeth Cerda and her husband Gerardo, Mark Silva, Gilbert Silva and his wife Ida; grandchildren, Gerardo Cerda III (Trey) and his wife Jennifer, Tracee Weston and her husband Wes, Rachel Gutierrez and her husband Lamond, Joshua Silva, Tirzah Gonzales; eight great grandchildren and of host of relatives and friends. Carlos received an Honorable Discharge from the U. S. Navy in 1955. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 5-9 PM with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM.

The Funeral Mass of Celebration will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 11:30 AM at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church 9217 E. Avenue L Houston, Texas. Interment will follow with honors at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
