Obituary of Carlos Failla Carlos I. Failla, age 57, of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford after a 5 year battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Janis Arlio Failla. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on March 10, 1961 he was the son of the late Ignacio and Maria Esther Siancha Failla.

Carlos was a craftsman by trade and owned both FCI Builders and Divi Design and Remodeling of Trumbull. He was a member of the Pootatuck Yacht Club of Stratford as well as an avid car enthusiast. Carlos was proud of earning his U.S. citizenship in July of 2014.

He loved his dog, Blue, but found his greatest enjoyment while spending time with his wife in the beloved island of St. Maarten, which was his favorite place to visit. In addition to his beloved wife of 10 years, Janis, other survivors include his sons, Uriel Failla and his wife Christine of Westport and his cherished granddaughter, Claire Elizabeth and Axel Failla of Stamford, his sister, Alicia Garcia of Argentina, as well as several nieces and nephews, both local and in Argentina. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his sisters, Mirta and Lita.

Friends may greet the family on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd. , Trumbull. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trumbull Animal Group (TAG), 300 Church Hill Rd. , Trumbull, CT 06611.
