Carmella is the beloved wife of the late George A. Gagnon, who preceded her in death in 2000; loving mother of Gail (Fred) Laudeman, Georganne Gagnon, Gregory M. (Leslie) Gagnon, the late Glenn G. Gagnon and Gay Lynn (Gary) Garmen; loving grandmother of Eric (Holly) Laudeman, Michael Laudeman, Susan (Kenneth) Howland, Gregory G. (Lauren) Gagnon, Glen G. (Maria) Gagnon, Natalie Gagnon and Mike Glowacki; and dear great grandmother of Jackson, Sam, Griffen, Holden, Erin and Kayla Marie. Millie was married to George in 1947 after his WWII enlistment in the USN in New York.

She raised her five children in Detroit from 1948 to 1968. They would later move the family to Sterling Heights and lived until 2017. Millie worked in downtown Detroit at NBD and Chase Bank as a manager for 37 years.

She will be dearly missed by family and all her friends. Memorial service dates and times will be announced shortly.
