Obituary for Carmen Brady It is with deep sadness that the family of Carmen Brady announces her passing after a long illness on Tuesday May 15th at the age of 64 years old. Carmen chose to keep her illness private and lived her last days with dignity teaching all who were near strength and courage. Carmen will be lovingly remembered by her husband Tom of 34 years, her beloved sons Christian and Thomas Jr. Carmen will also be fondly remembered by her sister Josefina and her brother Jaime.

Carmen was predeceased by her brother Jesus and sister Anita. Many nieces, nephews and cousins will also continue to hold Carmen close to their heart. Carmen lived her life helping others less fortunate.

For over 35 years she worked with the developmentally challenged and enriched their lives. She also worked with geriatric patients at the end of their lives. Some called her a living angel always doing “God’s work” Please join us for a celebration of her life on Thursday May 17th from 4p.m. to 8 p.m. at Yorktown Funeral Home.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday May 18th at 10 a.m. at the church of the Assumption in Peekskill, New York. The family asks that in lieu of flowers all donations can be made to Rosary Hill Nursing Home at 600 Linda Ave. Hawthorne NY.
