OBITUARY Carmen V. Houghton April 13, 1929 – October 3, 2018 Carmen V. Houghton, age 89, of Birmingham passed away October 3, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Houghton and son, Jim Houghton. She is survived by her daughters, Theresa H. Pitts and Deborah Lee Yount (Bill Garove); grandchildren, Christina & Darcie Yount, Matt Pitts (Vanese) and Susan Garove; great grandchildren, Harmony and Melody Pitts; and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives.

Carmen loved her church and her family. She loved gardening and fishing. Family will receive friends Saturday October 6, 2018 from 1:00 -2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Hoover.

Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery. Randy G. Atkinson officiating.
