Sarah A. (Kimbrough) Corprew, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018, at UAB Hospital. Sarah graduated from Carver High School in 1966, and shortly there after boarded a bus with her bestie Shirley (Owens) Porter, who preceded her in death, to New York City. Sarah worked for the Legal Aid Society for over 35 years.

When she retired and came back to Birmingham, she worked for the Legal Aid Society of Birmingham for another 10 years. She was preceded in death by her mother Leona O. Kimbrough and her brother Jeffery J. Kimbrough. She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted and loving husband: Kermit Corprew; her daughter: Candice Kimbrough; her grandson: William Yates; granddaughter: Sage Yates; brother: Frank Kimbrough, Jr. (Debora); sisters: Ann.

L. Kimbrough, Franki A. Kimbrough, Patricia Moore, Neva J. Kimbrough and Shelia Bennett; her loving cousin: Doris Robinson; a host of loving cousins (Jones, Shamburgers), nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed.
