OBITUARY Carmine Joseph Maugeri May 11, 1947 – August 9, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Carmine Maugeri died at the age of 71. He died peacefully at home in the company of his wife of 46 years, Dorothy Holscher Maugeri. Carmine and Dorothy met on a blind date.

Carmine is survived by his wife, and by daughter Debra Ann Maugeri and son Jonathan Paul Maugeri (Elena), grandchildren Jonathan Paul Maugeri, Jr, and Natalie Ann Maugeri. Also survived by brothers Salvatore Maugeri (Valerie), Ronald Maugeri, Richard Maugeri and sister Theresa Sherwood (John). Carmine was born in Manhattan, New York, and grew up in Yorktown Heights, New York.

He was a member of the Bricklayers Allied Craftsmen union for over 40 years. He moved to Florida in 1993 and worked for Tile-It, owned by his brother. He retired in 2009.

Carmine loved his family and friends, cars, oldies music, flea markets, and going on cruises with his wife. In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. A celebration of life memorial services will be held at Volusia Memorial Park, 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange, Florida 32129 on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 2 pm.

Family and friends are encouraged to wear their favorite resort/casual wear in honor of Carmine’s favorite passion which was cruising.
