Carol Ann Huffman, 67, of East Providence, passed away last Monday at Miriam Hospital in Providence after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of Charles “Chuck” S. Huffman. Carol Ann was born in Providence a daughter of the late Frank Palumbo and Mildred (Carolla) Palumbo of East Providence.

She had lived most of her life in East Providence. Besides her husband and mother, she leaves two sons, Mark Alexander Huffman of Coventry and Scott Andrew Huffman of Colorado and was the mother of the late Susan Marie French. She also leaves two sisters, Marsha Ouelette of Warren, Linda Sousa of Connecticut, five brothers, Russell Palumbo of Connecticut, Stephen Palumbo of Barrrington, Michael Palumbo of Massachusetts, Thomas Palumbno of East Providence and Garry Palumbo of Providence, one Grandson and two Great Granddaughters.

She was the sister of the late Kathy Palumbo. She alsoleaves several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Gathering will be held soon at a place and time to be announced.
