Obituary for Carol E Carmichael Carol Carmichael of Independence, Missouri passed away on October 22, 2018. Carol , the oldest of 2 children, was born May 8th, 1949 in Independence, MO (Jackson County); to Harold Blanton & Hazel Blanton. After graduating from high school, Carol attended Evangel University in Springfield, MO for one year, then two years in junior college for a degree while working full time at Childrens Mercy hospital as a cashier.

While working at childrens Mercy Carol met Craig Carmichael. They were married on March 10th, 1974. They had a son, Dre Carmichael, on August 16th, 1979.

Carol loved to garden, music, playing guitar, piano, & the organ. Throughout her life she has been plagued with health issues. She attended Central Assembly Independence, Pebble Creek, & Sheffield Assembly of God.
