Carol Gast, 73, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018. She was born in Madison, IN on July 12, 1942 to the late Homer and Katherine Craig Jenkins. She worked as a property manager for Country Hills Apartment Complex, was a member of Camp Pleasant Baptist Church, and co-founded Pleasant Pantry in association with God’s Pantry.

She is survived by her daughters, Mauricia (Michael) Sherwood, Frankfort, and Anna (Gary) Gray, Frankfort; sons, David (Terri) Higgs, Georgetown, and J.B. (Lori)… Read More » Higgs, Greenville, IN; sister, Mary Ellen Mann, MI; brother, Calvin Jenkins, IN; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter “Jerry” Gast; and 2 grandchildren, Emilee Higgs and Joshua Higgs. Celebration of her life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Camp Pleasant Baptist Church followed by a reception in the fellowship hall.

Pastor Kris Grimes will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to God’s Pantry. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements.
