Obituary for Carol J. Calderon • Carol J. Calderon, age 70 of Cary passed away April 20, 2018. She was born on May 4, 1947 in Oak Park, IL, the daughter of Ernest Wilson, Lynette Larson and step daughter to Harold Larson. Her mother, father, step father and brother, Michael Wilson, preceded her in death as well as her three children Steven Nils, Harley James and Robert Madsen.

Carol is survived by her nephews, Michael Wilson (Leslie), Brian Wilson (Jamie) and her cousins, Allan Meyer (Sandra) and Susan Rello (Larry). She is also survived by her dear friends, Pastor Andy Nillson, Karen Herting, Jody Gustafson, June and her other beloved Bible study and church sisters and brothers. Her service will be held at Living Grace Church on Saturday, April 28th at 11am with a luncheon at noon.

Pastor Andy Nilsson will be officiating. Carol loved her church and volunteered for Awana Children’s Ministry as well as attending two Bibles studies each week. She was a member of Living Grace Church in Cary, IL.

She also loved her cats, Trouble & Zippy, playing bingo, cards and darts. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Carol’s honor to Living Grace Church, 1500 Silver Lake Road, Cary, IL 60013. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Carol J. Calderon please visit our Sympathy Store.
