Carol Jessop Roundy Lewis, 77, of Logan, UT passed away May 11th surrounded by family and loved ones. Carol was born August 14, 1941 in Rupert, ID. She was the eighth child of Annie LaVon Griffiths and John Thompson Sparks.

She grew up in Banida, ID and lived there until 1954. She married Ronald Jay Jessop on November 18, 1959 and raised their four children in Logan. She subsequently married Carlos B Roundy on October 7, 1987 and later married her last husband Glen Hal Lewis on August 10, 2007.

Carol was a very colorful, creative and strong-willed woman who had a strong love for family and a great mind for business. Carol was an amazing seamstress and in 1969 was proud to be selected to sew the dress for Miss Utah in the Miss America Pageant. One of her favorite hobbies was the thrill of thrift shopping where she would spend the whole day looking for her next best purchase.

She also enjoyed the adventures of riding motorcycles, scuba diving and travel. After raising her family, her VP position at Spiricon, Inc. enabled her to travel extensively throughout the world. With her signature auburn colored hair and her business attire, she always looked sharp wherever she went.

She served in many capacities in the LDS church. Her church callings included various teaching positions: RS Presidency, Assistant to Ward Clerk, Secretary to several Bishops, and Assistant to Ward Clerk. She also served several years working in the temple.

She is survived by her children Alan Jay Jessop (Joann) of Draper, Lori Ann Jessop of Draper and Chad David Jessop of Logan, and grandchildren Danielle, Tyler, Dustin, Tanner, Kylie, Carson, Dakota and six great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, four brothers (J Vere, Loren, William, Ferrell), one sister (Ann), eldest daughter, Sidnie Lee Jessop, and latest husband, Glen Hal Lewis. Her remaining siblings include David Sparks of Twin Falls, ID and John Mervin Sparks of Springville, UT.
