Carol Mae Lee Sauer, 64, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019. She was born April 24, 1955 in Washington, DC. Carol loved fishing and spending time with her family, and church family.

She attended The Church of Jesus Christ in Garner, NC for many years. She will be loved and dearly missed for a very long time. The family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, Sunday, May 19, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 and other times at the home.

Carol is survived by her husband, Jerry Sauer; daughter, Tammy Johnson (Brent); sons, James Brothers (Carolyn) and Daniel Brothers; grandchildren: Adrian, Caleb, Kyle, Isaac, Zachary, Kayden, Ella, Shaun, and Joshua; sisters: Mary Ford and Eva Lee. Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Lee. Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Carolinas Chapter, 3101 Industrial Drive, #210, Raleigh, NC 27609.
