Carole Tervort Ephraim, Utah Carole Davis Tervort, 76, of Ephraim, passed away December 16, 2018 in Provo, Utah after a long battle with heart disease. She was born to Benjamin Elmo Davis and Evelyn Bradshaw, March 16,1942, in Mt. Pleasant, Utah.

Carole graduated from North Sanpete High School and received her Associate’s of Science from Snow College. On December 22,1962 she married the love of her life, Louis G. Tervort, in the Manti Temple. Carole and Louis served an 18 month mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Laie, Hawaii.

After their mission they worked as ordinance workers in the Manti Temple. She reached out with great compassion and a tender heart full of love for her family, friends, neighbors and those unknown. She was a true friend and confidante.

Music, literature and nature were her passion and delight to which her award winning garden can attest. She passed this love on to her beloved family. Carole’s life is a testament to the virtues of faith, kindness and charity.

Carole is a beloved mother. She is survived by her husband and children: Lisa (Brian) Murray, Roger (Christa) Tervort, Rachelle (Brett) Stubbs, and Megan (Casey) Jewkes; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who adore her immensely; sister, Marilyn (Larry) Burningham. Carole was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Tervort; and brother, Glenn Davis.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ephraim 2nd Ward Chapel, 450 North 200 West. Friends may call at the ward chapel in Ephraim Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. or Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Wales Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
