Carole Taylor Workman, age 76, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 1, 2018. She was born March 19, 1942 in Saltville, VA to Arthur and Jenny (Bordwine) Taylor. A graduate of R.B. Worthy High School, she went on to work for Olin Corporation until her retirement.

Carole was most happy with the simple pleasures in life: spending time with her family and friends, camping and tending to her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Jenny Taylor; her husband, James Workman; her sister, Jeral Davis; and her brother, Harold Taylor. She is survived by her daughter, Jamie (Lyn) Workman Ramp, her sister, Linda Hart; brother-in-law, Ronnie Davis; five nieces and nephews and five grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to McNeill Funeral Home from 6-8 PM on Thursday, July 5. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, July 6 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
