Obituary for David S. Chesser David S. Chesser Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, September 20, 2018, Mr. David Scott Chesser, 48, loving husband to Melissa S. Chesser. Mr. Chesser was a lifelong resident of Augusta and he attended the Academy of Richmond County. At the age of 15 he began his career as a courtesy clerk with Kroger and continued there for 33 years.
Over the past 20 years as an assistant manager, David served six stores in the Augusta/Aiken area. He was a Superman fan and was a family man that spent time with his girls whether it be watching their favorite TV shows, going to football games as a band dad and attending dance competitions. Mr. Chesser was a beloved husband, father, and friend.
Family members, in addition to his wife, include his daughters: Madison Lynn and Megan Marie Chesser; parents: Eugene and Margaret Chesser; sister: Denise Dunevent (Jason); parents-in-law: Willis and Cheryl Sanders; and numerous loving family members. The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church with Dr. Beth Sanders and Rev. Steven Hansen officiating.
