Obituary for Sadie Kinney Golden Sadie Kinney Golden Evans, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, September 12, 2018, Sadie Kinney Golden, 83, wife of the late, Philip Golden. Mrs. Golden was born and raised in Washington, GA. She worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Medical Records and retired after 48 years, being the longest tenured employee.
She and her husband were charter members of Parkway Baptist Church, where he served as deacon and she was very active. Mrs. Golden was a loyal Atlanta Braves fan who never met a stranger. She was a very loving and devoted mother and Gigi and will be missed by all that knew her.
Family members, include: daughter: Andrea Golden Johnson (Michael); grandchildren: Alison Wedereit, Scott Johnson and Brody Johnson; brother: Larry Kinney (Catherine) and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Emory Kinney and sister, Dorothy Kinney Hunt. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thomas Poteet & Son Chapel with Rev.
Jeff Harris and Rev. Russell Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Danny Harris, Matt Ellison, Edward Bible, Bo Raborn, Robert Butler, Keith Price, Randy Allen, and Rick Stringfield.
