Obituary for Jennie Sue Cooper Lawrence JENNIE SUE COOPER LAWRENCE Martinez, GA – Entered into rest, August 30, 2018, Mrs. Jennie Sue Cooper Lawrence, 63, loving wife to, Sondy Ingram Lawrence. Jennie was born and raised in Cross City Dixie County, Florida. After moving to the Martinez area, Jennie worked for the Columbia County School system for approximately 12 years.
She and her husband, Sondy founded and were the owners of Sondy’s Pizza in Columbia Square and Masters Square. Jennie was a loving wife of 46 years and mother and enjoyed working with flowers in her yard. Family members, in addition to her husband, include: daughter: Holly Marie Lawrence Williams; son: Alexander Ingram Lawrence (Amber); son: Eric Ingram Bollig (Michelle); grandchildren: Eli, Ellyssa, Georgia Ann, Law, Jocelyn, Jerica and Jessica; brother: Timothy Cooper (Judy); sister: Shirley Oakley (Steve).
Mrs. Lawrence was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy, Jackie, Wayne and Andy. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at West Acres Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Harmon officiating.
Burial will follow at Abilene Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at West Acres Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Ron Carter, Alex Lawrence, Tracy McDaniel, Brent Gowen, Roy Strickland, Chris Ziegler, Patrick Rivett, Wayne Stoltzfus, Trevon McDaniel, Jim Kuhn, Terry Little and Billy Jackson.
