Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Monroe Bean; mother, Annie Mae James; and nephew, Reginald Blakes. She is survived by her daughter, Teia Lashon Bean; sister, Margie Blakes; nephew, Alton Blakesw; niece, Daina Blakes; 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews.

Carolyn Bean was the life of the party. She made everyone around her laugh and gave everyone joy. Everyone always talked about how she was effortlessly funny.

She loved going to church, loved making others smile and loved watching television. She loved being with family. Carolyn was a hard worker and worked continuously for years with complaining.

She was a sweet and beautiful soul that will be missed by everyone. Carolyn Bean is now resting in her heavenly home. Funeral services are as follows: Sunday – March 3, 2019: Visitation 3-6pm at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Rd.

, San Antonio, Texas 78237. Prayer service will be recited during this service.
