CAROLYN BEAN June 21, 1954 – February 06, 2019 Share this obituary Upload Photo Carolyn Bean, born June 21, 1954 in New Orleans, Louisiana to parents Monroe Bean and Annie Mae James, entered into eternal rest February 6, 2019 at the age of 64. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Monroe Bean; mother, Annie Mae James; and nephew, Reginald Blakes. She is survived by her daughter, Teia Lashon Bean; sister, Margie Blakes; nephew, Alton Blakesw; niece, Daina Blakes; 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews.

Carolyn Bean was the life of the party. She made everyone around her laugh and gave everyone joy. Everyone always talked about how she was effortlessly funny.

She loved going to church, loved making others smile and loved watching television. She loved being with family. Carolyn was a hard worker and worked continuously for years with complaining.

She was a sweet and beautiful soul that will be missed by everyone. Carolyn Bean is now resting in her heavenly home. Funeral services are as follows: Sunday – March 3, 2019: Visitation 3-6pm at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Rd.
