Obituary for Carolyn Davis (Shook) Carolyn Shook Davis, 69, of Woodfin, NC, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Mission Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born January 2, 1950 to the late Tom and Nell Hensley Shook. Carolyn was preceded in death by her companion and lifelong friend Bill Brigham.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Lisa Seals, Greg Davis, Wendy Passmore, and Daniel and Tom Brigham; grandson, Triston Davis; two sisters, Verna Shook and Althea Stanley; four grandchildren, Felisha Ward (Timmy), Tommy Worley (Morgan), Alisa Webb and Hailey Arrington; three great grandchildren, Mason, Tyler, and Macelyn; and four special nieces, Darlene Cogdill, Charlene Brown, Annette Adams and Vickie Eddins. A funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev.

Mike Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow in the Shook Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
