Lake St. Mundelein IL. A private burial is Wednesday at Willow Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation is Monday from 4-8 PM at the Kristan Funeral Home P.C., 219 West Maple Ave.

JoAnn was born December 8, 1928 in Roland, Iowa and died January 28, 2019 at the Ponds in Lincolnshire. She was an active member at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, and a loyal fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bulls. She was a former golfer and also involved as a former Girl Scout Leader.

She is survived by her loving children Carolyn (Robin) Vucitech, Karen Gentilini, Gary Gentilini, and son-in-law Matthew Gallagher Jr., her grandchildren Matthew (Danielle) Gallagher III and Sean Gallagher, Her cousin-sister Birdelle Post and 2 sister-in-laws Ramona Johnson and Mary Canovi, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle that raised her since she was 7 years old, Amelia and Jacob Gjerde, her husband Gino Gentilini, her daughter Sheree Gallagher and 2 brothers Leo Johnson, James Gjerde and 1 sister Jennifer Ambrose. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church 10 S. Lake St. Mundelein IL.
