Obituary for Carolyn Sue Swick Carolyn Sue Mongold Swick, “Granny”, 64, of Mendota, VA, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center. Born December 3, 1953, she is the daughter of the late Daniel and Beatrice Mongold. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by five siblings.

Those left to cherish Carolyn’s memory include: husband, Edward Swick, Sr.; children, Rachel Harvel (Gary), Christina McGuire (Tim), Jennifer Phillips (Travis), Edward Swick II (Chasity); grandchildren, Hayleah, Ashleah, Makynze, Kendra, Jarrod, Evan, Connor, Trevor, Jagger, Trey, and Liam; four sisters; Joan, Janet, Phyllis, and Diane; and her beloved dog, Tootsie Pop. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Empire Cremation & Burial Services.
