Obituary for Carolyn Chapman Carolyn Chapman, 62, of Richland, TX, fought her cancer long and hard until her passing on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 31, 1955 in Navarro County to Clifton and Bessie (Franklin) Crocker. Carolyn was a devoted and loyal wife to her husband, Bobby Joe Chapman.

She was a strong woman who not only poured her heart into raising her own children, but to all of her “bonus kids” as well. She loved to go deer hunting, and even had the opportunity to take part in her last hunt just a few weeks before her passing. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.

Carolyn is survived by her mother, Bessie (Franklin) Johnston; husband, Bobby Joe Chapman; children: Tiffany Moore and husband Kenneth, Justin Tucker and fiancé Sadia, Clay Chapman and fiancé Veronica, John Tucker and wife Christie, and Diane Huston and husband Samuel; brother, Jimmy Crocker and wife Mickey; brother, Wayman Crocker and wife Desiree; sister, Martha Hatchel and husband Jimmy; 15 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Clifton Crocker, and brother, Johnny Crocker. Carolyn’s family will receive friends and loved ones during a visitation at Corley Funeral Home on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 6 PM until 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held the following day, October 20, at 2 PM at Corley Funeral Home. The final burial will be postponed due to inclement weather. An online guestbook is available at www.
