Obituary for Carolynn Doreen Muldoon Carolynn Doreen Muldoon, age 78, of North Olmsted, passed away at home on May 26, 2018. She was born on August 12, 1939 in Berea OH, the daughter of the late Cary and Jeannette (nee Chapman) Looney. She graduated from North Ridgeville High School.

Carolynn was a devoted grandmother. She was seeker of truth and beauty found in the smiles of a child’ eyes and from the sounds of laughter heard from an adjacent room. Her “Super Hero” skill was her ability to encourage others to imagine and to create.

If a child had an idle moment, then super Grammie was going to stretch your imagination and get you into something you have not done before. She encouraged us to believe in ourselves, to dream and imagine what we could become. She knew there was power in our thoughts to manifest dreams.

She knew that the light that shines in a child’s heart needs the most-subtle of nudges to find a journey, a path, an occupation or life of true fulfillment. She is the beloved mother of Kevin and Janet Muldoon of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, Kurt and Tracy Muldoon of West Orange, NJ and Steve and Shelley Muldoon of Naples, FL. ; cherished Grammie of Cooper, Mason, Olivia, Chase and Peyton.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 12PM-2PM at the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Rd. , North Olmsted (Enter the Park Gates), where funeral services will commence on Monday at 2PM. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
