Obituary for Carrie Olivia Padgett (Barrett) Carrie Olivia Padgett, 97, of Manchester, passed away on Wednesday January 9, 2019 at Alice Manor Nursing Home, Baltimore. Born March 2, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Raleigh and Florence (Sebre) Barrett. She was the wife of the late James Adolthus Padgett.

She was known as “Wild Woman”. Surviving is son, Sherwood B. Dix and his wife Patricia of Westminster; grandaughter, Wendy Darby of Westminster; granddaughter, Lesa Weinreich of Westminster; great granddaughters, Brittany Serrano of NC, Amanda Neiderer of PA and Gracee Weinreich of Westminster. Also survived by 5 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 14, 2019, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead, where services will be held at 12:00 pm. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.
